Permanent Representation of Slovenia to the Council of Europe organized a small reception for the Slovenian citizens working at the two institutions European Parliament and the Council of Europe

 

Strasbourg, 16 June - On the fringes of a session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg and to mark the forthcoming Independence Day of the Republic of Slovenia, the Permanent Representation of Slovenia to the Council of Europe organized a small reception for the Slovenian citizens working at the two institutions. The reception was attended by almost all Slovenian members of the European Parliament, the Slovenian judge of the European Court of Human Rights, Dr Boštjan M. Zupancic, associates and assistants of members of the Parliament and Slovenians working in the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights.

The purpose of the event, in addition to commemorating the Slovenian anniversary, was to establish cooperation, exchange information and ideas and strengthen the Slovenian presence in European institutions.
